Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy lets a doctor look inside your entire large intestine. A colonscope has a tiny camera attached to it which allows the gastroenterologist to look for inflamed tissue, polyps, or ulcers. A Gastro can also diagnose and manage colonic diseases. The physician incorporates both treatment and prevention has part of her practice.
